Solaris in 5 Sentences

So this psychiatrist is asked to go to this space station (to help out and save the day!) where the crew's loved ones are appearing as copies in the crew's sleep.

So the psychiatrist gets there and he asks the crew members what is going on, but then they are like, I dunno.

So then the psychiatrist (who is now called George Clooney) goes to sleep and his dead wife comes back to life as a copy.

First, he kills her by ejecting her into space, but then she comes back again and he wants to keep her this time.

The rest of the crew say lets kill all the copies we made and leave, but George Clooney is like, "no" so he stays behind and dies.

THE END.

Whattt!! I don't get it.
So were the clone people their imagination or what?

And why does Mr. Clooney die?

And what happens to the rest of the crew?

The clone people come to life in the real world during their sleep.

Mr Clooney dies because he wants to stay behind because he saw his dead wife or something. The ending was really ambiguous because Clooney doesn't know if he's alive or dead and whatnot.

There are only 2 crew members total + Clooney.
There is a twist that one of the crew members is really a copy, created by the original crew member who looks exactly like him. The real crew member died after the copy murdered him, so they left the copy behind.
The other crew member then leaves by herself.
